The Challenge
Talkspace is the world's leading online therapy platform serving 2M+ users. You'll own engineering projects that connect marketing tools, web properties, and analytics systems—directly supporting growth initiatives that get therapy into more hands.
Your Mission
Build and analyze 2-3 AB tests in Webflow Optimize, documenting lift and statistical significance
Audit data infrastructure connecting first-party tags, ad pixels (Facebook, Google), and third-party connectors to analytics platforms
Complete QA documentation across Talkspace web properties, identifying and logging bugs with reproduction steps
Develop fluency with Braze, Google Ads, Mixpanel, and AppsFlyer—know what data flows where and why it matters
Deliver final capstone project: a data integration audit or AI workflow automation that reduces manual QA/analysis work
Contribute to at least one major web strategy decision with data-backed recommendations from your analytics work
Map attribution flow end-to-end: campaign → landing page → conversion event → CRM sync, identifying gaps and fixes
Mentor incoming interns or document workflows as institutional knowledge for the marketing ops team
KPIs You'll Own
AB Test Velocity
Number of tests launched, analyzed, and actionable insights delivered per month.
Data Quality Score
Percentage of marketing events passing QA validation across web properties and third-party connectors.
Time Saved via Automation
Hours per week freed up by AI agents or scripts you build to replace manual QA/analysis tasks.

Is This Role For You?
- You're a technical student or recent grad who wants real hands-on experience with marketing data and web analytics—not just shadowing
- You enjoy debugging data flows and QA work; you get satisfaction from finding the gap between what 'should' happen and what actually does
- You're fluent in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and eager to apply it to real marketing problems (AB tests, tracking, integrations)
- You care about the mission: you want to work on something that genuinely impacts people's access to mental health support
- You're comfortable with ambiguity and can self-direct on projects; you'll have a mentor, but this isn't a hand-held role
- You need a full-time salary above $15/hour or are unwilling to work at the stated minimum wage for an internship
- You're not comfortable with on-site/in-office work in NYC (role is remote but NYC-based company culture may apply)
- You lack technical fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or have no interest in learning SQL and APIs
- You want a purely creative marketing role; this is engineering-heavy and data-focused, not brand or campaign-focused

Once hired, you'll be paired with a Talkspace mentor who guides you throughout the summer.
