The Challenge

Vuori is a fast-growing athletic apparel brand redefining casual-to-gym wear. You'll build and scale their V1 Community Program from the ground up—turning fitness enthusiasts into brand advocates while driving retail traffic and lifetime value.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map V1 Community Program current state: audit existing ambassador relationships, document program gaps, and establish baseline KPIs for member engagement and retail lift

Define and launch V1 Leader cohort criteria and onboarding process; recruit initial 20-30 high-performing local fitness leaders across Carlsbad and surrounding markets

3

Build out email marketing cadence and community comms strategy; design and execute first quarterly community event or activation

4

Establish cross-functional governance; align with retail, creative, and social teams on program messaging, product seeding strategy, and performance tracking

By 6 Months
1

Scale V1 Leader program to 75-100 active ambassadors across key markets with documented growth targets, incentive structures, and performance metrics

Drive measurable retail traffic lift: establish baseline, execute 2-3 major in-store activations/gifting campaigns, and measure incremental foot traffic and conversion

3

Develop annual program roadmap including seasonal community experiences, events, and partnerships with local fitness studios; execute at least 2 major activations

4

Implement analytics dashboard tracking: member acquisition cost, lifetime value, retail attribution, email engagement rates, and leader performance; share monthly learnings with leadership

KPIs You'll Own

V1 Leader Cohort Growth & Retention

Total active ambassadors, monthly onboarding rate, and retention % to measure program expansion and ambassador satisfaction.

Retail Traffic & Sales Lift

Incremental foot traffic and AOV attributed to V1 activations and ambassador referrals vs. baseline.

Community Email Engagement

Open rates, click rates, and conversion rates from V1 community communications; segment by audience tier.

Member Acquisition Cost (MAC) & Lifetime Value (LTV)

Cost to acquire a V1 member via ambassador vs. organic channels; track repeat purchase rate and average spend over 12 months.

Event Attendance & Activation ROI

Attendance, social impressions, and direct sales or sign-ups generated per activation; calculate cost per qualified lead.

  • You've managed 3+ years of ambassador, influencer, or loyalty programs and know how to scale a cohort from 0 to 100+

  • You thrive juggling multiple workstreams (program ops, events, email, partner relations) and own end-to-end execution without handholding

  • You need remote flexibility—this is fully on-site in Carlsbad and demands regular retail and event presence
  • You're a pure analyst who avoids people management; this role requires building, mentoring, and nurturing a team and ambassador cohort
  • You've never touched community, ambassador, or loyalty programs and prefer siloed execution over cross-functional collaboration
