The Challenge

Summit Area YMCA is a major regional nonprofit that needs to amplify its community impact through digital storytelling. You'll own the full digital marketing stack—from web and email to paid ads—to drive engagement and program participation across thousands of community members.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit and optimize existing email campaigns for open/click rates; implement 2-3 new automated nurture sequences

Establish baseline performance metrics across web, social, and paid channels; document current analytics setup

Create and publish 12+ pieces of on-brand content (graphics, copy, video) across web, social, and email

4

Launch one paid ad campaign (Google or Meta) with clear performance tracking and ROI measurement

By 6 Months
1

Increase email subscriber engagement rate by 15% through A/B testing and segmentation optimization

Grow social media follower base by 25% and improve engagement rate through consistent content calendar

3

Achieve 20% increase in website traffic and track conversion to program signups by channel

4

Build comprehensive content calendar and brand asset library; document all processes for team consistency

Email Open & Click-Through Rate

Track newsletter and campaign performance; target 20%+ opens and 5%+ CTR

Social Media Engagement Rate

Monitor likes, comments, shares, and follower growth across Facebook, Instagram, and other channels

Paid Ad ROAS & CPC

Measure return on ad spend and cost-per-click across Google Ads and Meta platforms

Website Traffic & Conversion

Track monthly visitors, page performance, and conversions to program registrations or donations

Content Production Volume

Monitor pieces published monthly across all channels to maintain consistent brand presence

The Package

Salary

$55K-$70K base

Remote

On-site in Summit, NJ; Monday-Friday standard hours plus occasional evenings/weekends
