The Director of Growth & Strategy will lead division-level strategic planning, market analysis, and portfolio development. This leader will partner closely with Business Units, Engineering, Program Management, Sales, and Finance to align priorities, evaluate investment opportunities, and position the division for sustained growth. The role will influence executive decision-making, support long-range planning, and guide expansion into emerging markets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead division-level strategic planning and long-range growth initiatives
  • Develop market insights, competitive intelligence, and portfolio strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Business Units, Engineering, Finance, and Sales
  • Guide investment prioritization, including capability development and opportunity shaping
  • Support executive leadership with strategic presentations and decision frameworks
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies
  • Lead scenario planning, trade studies, and growth opportunity assessments
  • Track strategic performance metrics including pipeline health and growth targets
  • Represent the organization with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders


Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, business development, market analysis, or related leadership roles
  • Background in aerospace, defense, or space industry preferred
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and executive influence skills
  • Experience with portfolio planning, forecasting, and investment prioritization
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
