ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are a fast-growing fintech company building modern digital infrastructure for benefits, payments, and restricted-spend ecosystems, including EBT, healthcare benefits, and other regulated financial products.

Our platform helps organizations deliver secure, seamless financial experiences for consumers while enabling governments, healthcare organizations, and enterprises to manage complex benefit programs with greater efficiency and confidence.

As we scale, we are building a marketing function that can clearly communicate our value, strengthen our brand, accelerate growth, and support our sales and partnership teams.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Director of Marketing who will work closely with the CEO and executive team to build, lead, and coordinate marketing initiatives across the company. This role will initially report to me and will be a key partner in shaping how we communicate our story internally and externally.

This is a hands-on, full-stack marketing leadership role for a highly versatile marketer who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong storyteller, and capable operator—someone who can move fluidly between strategy and execution, manage multiple priorities, and bring clarity and momentum in an environment that is evolving quickly.

This leader must be comfortable operating in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment and motivated by the opportunity to build, improve, and advance the marketing function as the company grows.

You will serve as a central driver of marketing execution, helping align messaging, brand positioning, content development, and sales enablement across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to shape and execute marketing strategy
  • Build and coordinate marketing initiatives across product, sales, and leadership teams
  • Manage and collaborate with external agencies, internal stakeholders, and creative partners
  • Develop compelling thought leadership, website content, product messaging, case studies, and campaign materials
  • Create high-impact presentations and executive communication materials
  • Support the sales team with client presentations, proposals, and custom decks
  • Translate complex fintech, benefits, and healthcare-related solutions into clear, compelling, market-ready messaging
  • Support go-to-market initiatives, product launches, and strategic growth efforts
  • Help establish and maintain a consistent brand voice, narrative, and market position
  • Lead marketing projects across a rapidly evolving business with shifting priorities and multiple stakeholders
  • Leverage AI tools to improve speed, creativity, content development, research, and team productivity

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a highly adaptable, high-capacity marketing leader who is energized by building in a fast-paced company. The right candidate is resourceful, execution-oriented, and comfortable navigating complexity. You should be able to think strategically, execute tactically, and help bring order and progress in an environment where priorities may shift quickly.

You should also be ambitious, growth-minded, and eager to help elevate the company’s brand, messaging, and market presence.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND

  • 7+ years of fintech marketing experience required
  • Experience marketing consumer-facing apps or digital products required
  • Strong understanding of fintech, payments, digital wallets, benefits platforms, or regulated financial products
  • Experience in healthcare, benefits, financial services, or adjacent regulated industries preferred
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to enhance creativity, efficiency, content development, research, and marketing execution
  • Strong content development, messaging, and storytelling skills
  • Exceptional PowerPoint and presentation development abilities
  • Experience supporting sales enablement and enterprise sales cycles
  • Experience managing agencies, contractors, or outside marketing partners
  • Ability to operate effectively in a startup, scale-up, or other high-growth environment
  • Strong executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to work cross-functionally with senior leaders

WHY THIS ROLE IS UNIQUE

  • Direct partnership with the CEO and executive leadership team
  • Opportunity to shape the voice, narrative, and market presence of a growing fintech company
  • High visibility across leadership, investors, partners, and clients
  • Ability to build and scale the marketing function from the ground up
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of financial services, healthcare, digital benefits, and consumer technology
