Our Ideal Candidate
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or marketing support role, preferably within the music or entertainment industry
- Passion for the music industry with a strong foundation in marketing coordination and administrative support
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere (preferred)
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, and production
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail
- Highly organized with strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment
You’ll partner with internal marketing teams and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate marketing materials, manage project documentation, and support campaign execution. This includes submitting and tracking creative requests for marketing assets such as invites, posters, and video content, as well as creating and maintaining project documents including one-sheets, timelines, and quote sheets.
You will also organize artist assets such as photos, artwork, logos, music files, and biographies, coordinate shipping and distribution of marketing materials, and help ensure marketing tools and campaign resources are delivered on time. Additional responsibilities include assisting with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, supporting travel arrangements, routing vendor contracts, and assisting with calendars and expense tracking to support the team’s overall success.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Background in marketing, communications, entertainment, or creative production environments
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns, creative asset coordination, or project documentation preferred
- This opportunity is located in Santa Monica, CA and requires on-site work
- The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $31.00 per hour
- This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked
