The Challenge

LOFT is a modern women's fashion brand owned by KnitWell Group, looking to scale retention marketing across email, SMS, and direct mail. You'll own campaign execution that drives customer lifetime value and re-engagement—a high-visibility role in a fast-paced retail environment.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Execute 100% of planned retention campaigns across email, SMS, and direct mail with zero launch errors

2

Build mastery of the ESP platform and LOFT's segmentation strategy; produce accurate daily/weekly channel performance reports

3

Establish cross-functional alignment with CRM, Creative, Merchandising, and Analytics on calendar, briefs, and QA processes

4

Identify and test 2-3 optimization opportunities (timing, copy, segment) to improve click-through or conversion rates

By 6 Months
1

Own end-to-end workflow for 50+ campaigns; demonstrate measurable improvements in retention metrics (email open rate, SMS conversion, reactivation rate)

Lead segmentation strategy refresh with CRM and Analytics; propose and test 3+ new audience splits based on purchase behavior or lifecycle stage

Partner with agencies and internal teams to launch 2-3 new engagement programs (e.g., loyalty-triggered campaigns, win-back series)

4

Mentor junior team members or interns on campaign best practices; document playbooks for email, SMS, and direct mail workflows

KPIs You'll Own

Email Open Rate & Click-Through Rate

Track campaign engagement and optimize send times, subject lines, and segment performance.

SMS Conversion Rate & Opt-In Rate

Measure SMS-driven transactions and ensure compliance; maintain healthy list growth.

Customer Retention Rate

Monitor repeat purchase rate and reactivation success from retention campaigns.

Direct Mail Response Rate & ROI

Track mail piece performance and cost-per-acquisition versus digital channels.

Campaign Launch On-Time Rate

Execute 100% of planned calendar with zero missed deadlines or QA failures.
