The Challenge

CS GROUP is a €2.6B+ critical systems builder for defense, space, and energy. Their Defense & Security BU needs someone to amplify their market presence across 840+ team members and complex, high-stakes programs—from anti-drone systems to maritime surveillance.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit and refresh all commercial collateral (product sheets, case studies, client references) across the BU product portfolio

2

Execute competitive intelligence report covering defense/security market trends and positioning gaps

3

Launch and operationalize digital presence strategy (LinkedIn, website content, social scheduling)

4

Support 2-3 major event activations (trade shows, customer events, internal workshops)

By 6 Months
1

Establish quarterly business plan review cycle with commercial leadership, tracking pipeline impact metrics

Build and own 6-month content calendar aligned to defense/security buying cycles and seasonal campaigns

Measure and optimize digital engagement: follower growth, CTR, lead gen from owned channels

Develop replicable case study/reference program process with 3+ assets completed and validated

Commercial asset utilization rate

% of sales team actively using updated collateral in pitches/proposals (target: 70%+)

Digital engagement velocity

Monthly growth in LinkedIn followers, website traffic, and qualified inbound leads from owned channels

Event ROI

Pipeline value generated / event investment spend and lead quality from each activation
