Basic Function of the Position:
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® is looking for an innovative and results-driven Manager, Marketing to join our marketing team. If you thrive on strategy, creativity, and analytics, this is the perfect opportunity to make an impact.
As the Manager, Marketing, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and brand awareness for CES®. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, sales, membership, research and agency partners, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities
- Create compelling marketing strategies to enhance CES brand visibility and customer engagement. Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns through various channels, including email, content marketing, paid media, SEO, and other digital platforms.
- Serve as a technical advisor, providing insights and recommendations on marketing technologies and tools including within the trade show industry.
- Optimize marketing processes and implement automation tools to improve efficiency.
- Analyze campaign performance and key metrics to identify areas of improvement and drive strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales goals, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Manage marketing segmentation strategies to personalize outreach and enhance engagement.
- Research new opportunities for marketing initiatives and conduct competitive analysis for potential products and services.
- Stay up to date on the latest marketing technologies, trends, and best practices.
Work Experience:
- Experience: 5+ years in marketing, project management, or digital marketing.
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred, or commensurate experience.
Skills/Capabilities/Technical:
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, email marketing, and social media advertising.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, Google Analytics, and Google Ads.
- Experience evaluating new technology options for more efficient marketing operations, App integrations, and customer service products.
- Analytical mindset with experience in tracking KPIs, A/B testing, and optimizing conversion rates.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) to track and manage marketing activities.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports.
- Experience working with Salesforce Journey Builder a plus, but not a criteria.
Additional Information:
- Some overtime and travel required.
- Position requires travel to Las Vegas for CES.
