About the Company
Our client, a fast-growing consumer brand generating $100M in annual e-commerce revenue, is seeking a Director of Growth to lead digital customer acquisition and drive profitability. This business controls its entire value chain—from manufacturing to direct-to-consumer sales—and launches 100 new products daily via a live TV channel, creating a constant pipeline of products and offers to drive digital growth. The company already invests heavily in paid media and is ready to significantly increase spend, with a leader who can improve acquisition economics and scale profitably.
About the Role
This role will own the digital growth P&L, lead a distributed team, and drive the strategy that unlocks the next stage of scalable customer acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Digital P&L leadership
- Accountability for CAC, LTV, MER, contribution margin, and channel capital allocation.
- Paid acquisition strategy
- Build and execute a structured testing roadmap across paid channels (Meta, Google, affiliates), rapidly scaling winning campaigns and shutting down underperformers.
- Customer acquisition at scale
- Improve the economics of new-customer acquisition and scale paid spend significantly as performance improves.
- Conversion & retention optimization
- Increase funnel conversion, AOV, and repeat purchase rate through landing page optimization, checkout improvements, upsell strategies, and lifecycle marketing (email/SMS).
- Team leadership
- Lead a distributed digital team across multiple geographies, setting clear performance goals and accountability.
- AI experimentation
- Leverage emerging AI tools across creative production, analytics, and campaign workflows to accelerate testing and performance improvements.
Qualifications
- D2C e-commerce experience selling physical consumer products ($10M+ revenue scale)
- Deep expertise in paid acquisition, particularly Meta and Google
- Proven track record improving CAC, ROAS, and contribution margin
- Experience with Shopify or comparable platforms plus lifecycle marketing tools such as Klaviyo or Attentive
- Demonstrated ownership of digital P&L or growth function budgets ($3M–$10M+)
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, funnel optimization, and offer strategy
- Experience managing teams (5+ people) and driving performance accountability
- Familiarity with analytics and attribution tools (e.g., Northbeam, Power BI)
- Evidence of practical AI experimentation in marketing workflows
Pay range and compensation package
$180K - $230K base salary plus bonus, profit sharing, and equity
