The Challenge

CareGuide is Canada's leading caregiving platform, and they need a hands-on growth leader to own the entire funnel—from strategy to execution. You'll drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue while staying close to the data and code.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current growth channels and identify top 2-3 quick wins to implement (paid, organic, or product-led)

Build or refine core growth tracking dashboard in SQL/Python and establish baseline KPIs across funnel

3

Launch one major campaign (awareness, conversion, or retention) and measure impact against baselines

4

Document growth playbooks and establish weekly cadence with leadership and product team

By 6 Months
1

Achieve 15-25% growth in primary acquisition metric (CAC-adjusted or cohort-based)

2

Scale top-performing channel by 2-3x while reducing CAC by 10-15% through optimization

3

Design and execute A/B test roadmap across at least 4 critical conversion moments

Build predictive models (churn, LTV, etc.) that inform product and marketing decisions

KPIs You'll Own

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

Track cost-per-acquisition across channels to optimize spend efficiency.

Lifetime Value (LTV)

Measure revenue per user over their lifetime to ensure unit economics are healthy.

Conversion Rate by Funnel Stage

Monitor top→middle→bottom funnel conversion to spot optimization opportunities.

Retention / Churn Rate

Track cohort retention to understand product-market fit and repeat engagement.

CAC Payback Period

Measure how quickly acquired customers pay back their acquisition cost.

  • You code or query data yourself—SQL/Python fluency is non-negotiable for you
  • You thrive in ambiguity and can prioritize ruthlessly across multiple channels
  • You've scaled B2C or marketplace product to 6+ figures in MRR or strong retention signals
Won't Work If
  • You're a marketing theorist—this role demands hands-on execution and coding
  • You've never owned full-funnel growth accountability or P&L impact
  • You can't or won't learn SQL/Python—data fluency is the job, not a nice-to-have
