The Challenge
Bonduelle is a 8,000-person plant-based food leader serving 100+ countries. You'll architect the European out-of-home (foodservice) strategy from scratch, driving category growth across 2,100+ farming partners and a fragmented multi-country operator base.
Your Mission
Map current OOH market landscape across 5+ European markets: competitor positioning, operator needs, pricing dynamics, and portfolio gaps
Establish cross-functional governance framework with OOH Acceleration Director, Marketing, RGM, and Innovation teams
Define and socialize 2-year European OOH category strategy with clear growth targets, operator segmentation, and portfolio priorities
Audit existing customer activation assets and identify 3-5 quick wins to test with pilot customers
Launch 5-year OOH portfolio roadmap with updated product architecture, segment roles, and innovation pipeline by category
Deploy customer activation toolkit across 3+ pilot countries with documented playbooks and training materials
Establish Category Community best-practice program with monthly reviews, KPI dashboards, and country performance benchmarking
Co-build pricing strategy with RGM and Marketing that balances margin, operator value, and CSR commitments with 15%+ uptake from pilot accounts

Is This Role For You?
- You've led category or customer marketing strategies in foodservice/CPG with 5+ years in director-level roles
- You thrive in matrix organizations and can influence peers without direct authority across Marketing, Sales, Innovation, and RGM
- You combine strategic rigor (market analysis, portfolio architecture) with operator empathy and commercial acumen
- You're fluent in English and at least one other European language (French a plus); comfortable leading across multi-country teams
- You need full decision-making autonomy and struggle with consensus-building in complex matrix structures
- You lack hands-on foodservice or B2B channel marketing experience—this is for category strategists with operator/distributor credibility
- You're not mission-driven; if plant-based food and sustainability aren't core to why you show up, the role won't stick

Strategy case study
Async or live exercise: analyze a European foodservice market scenario, recommend category strategy and activation approach
Director-level interviews
Separate conversations with OOH Acceleration Director Europe and Europe Marketing Director (1 hour each) on cross-functional leadership, strategy examples, and operator insight
Final panel
Half-day on-site in Villeneuve-d'Ascq with broader leadership and peer team to assess cultural fit and collaborative energy
