The Challenge
BMG is looking for a digital marketing architect to drive artist growth across all platforms. You'll orchestrate fan-driven campaigns that turn listeners into passionate communities and shape cultural conversations.
Your Mission
Audit current digital performance across roster; identify 3-5 high-impact campaign opportunities by month 1
Develop and pitch integrated digital strategy for 2-3 lead artists (social, email, partnerships, content calendar)
Establish cadence with artists/managers; secure buy-in on Q1 campaign roadmap
Map emerging platforms and AI tools; recommend 2 new experimental channels to test
Launch 4+ integrated campaigns; track audience growth and engagement lift across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, email
Grow first-party data (email list, community platforms) by 30%+ for roster; establish CRM infrastructure
Lead 2 viral/trending moments that drive cultural conversation and measurable artist reach
Build repeatable content planning process; deliver monthly performance reports to artists/managers with insights

Track month-over-month audience expansion across all platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X).

Monitor likes, comments, shares, and community sentiment; measure fan activation during campaigns.

Email list growth, CRM sign-ups, community platform memberships; track conversion from paid/organic.
Campaign Performance & ROI
Cost per follower, conversion rates, attributed revenue or streams from digital marketing initiatives.
