The Challenge

A top-tier law firm is building out its digital marketing leadership to compete in the modern B2B professional services landscape. You'll own the entire digital strategy stack—from thought leadership distribution to marketing tech—while navigating the unique demands of advising global companies on complex regulatory and IP matters.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit existing digital marketing platforms (website, social, email, analytics) and identify quick wins for campaign performance improvement

2

Develop a 12-month digital content and campaign roadmap aligned with firm leadership priorities and practice group needs

3

Launch 2-3 integrated digital campaigns promoting key practices/industries with defined KPIs and measurement frameworks

4

Establish governance for thought leadership distribution across owned channels (website, LinkedIn, email, newsletters)

By 6 Months
1

Increase organic digital engagement metrics (website traffic, social reach, email open rates) by 25-35% quarter-over-quarter

2

Implement marketing technology improvements (SEO/SEM optimization, analytics dashboards, content management) reducing manual reporting by 40%

3

Build a sustainable thought leadership content engine producing 15-20 pieces monthly across articles, reports, webinars, and podcasts

4

Partner with practice groups to execute 6-8 integrated campaigns demonstrating clear pipeline/visibility impact for firm leadership

KPIs You'll Own

Website Traffic & Engagement

Monthly organic and paid traffic growth, bounce rate, time-on-site, and conversion to leads/contact form submissions.

Thought Leadership Distribution

Content pieces published, reach/impressions across channels, social shares, email engagement rates (open/click), and third-party mentions.

Campaign Performance

Integrated campaign KPIs including reach, engagement, lead generation, cost-per-lead, and attribution to pipeline/revenue where possible.

Marketing Tech Efficiency

Platform adoption rates, time spent on manual vs. automated processes, reporting accuracy, and ROI on marketing technology investments.

Social Media Growth

LinkedIn followers/engagement, Twitter/X presence, industry mentions, and audience growth month-over-month across platforms.
