This is a rapidly scaling CPG brand that have received significant investment and is scaling quickly with the resources to support rapid team and revenue growth. The brand is entering a huge growth period and are looking to build out their inhouse marketing team.
About the Role
We’re seeking a
Retention Marketing Manager
who is passionate about turning first-time buyers into loyal customers. This role focuses on building meaningful customer relationships, increasing repeat purchases, and making the subscription experience truly compelling.You’ll own the retention ecosystem from email and SMS to subscription strategy and lifecycle marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute retention strategy across email, SMS, and subscription lifecycle
- Build and optimize data-driven campaigns aligned with brand voice and business goals
- Manage lifecycle and promotional messaging in Klaviyo (planning, segmentation, QA, deployment, analysis)
- Develop customer journeys including post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, and subscription flows
- Partner with Ecommerce, Creative, and Brand teams to deliver high-impact retention initiatives
- Analyze customer behavior, cohort performance, and retention metrics to identify opportunities
- Launch innovative retention initiatives beyond standard lifecycle campaigns
- Support subscription growth by reducing churn, increasing LTV, and improving subscriber experience
- Contribute insights around loyalty programs, Amazon retention, and cross-channel behavior (nice to have)
Qualifications
- Direct experience managing a
subscription ecommerce program
- Strong hands-on experience with
Klaviyo (email + SMS)
- Deep understanding of ecommerce customer journeys, especially post-purchase and replenishment cycles
- Comfortable working with testing frameworks and performance metrics (LTV, repeat rate, churn)
- Loyalty program, Amazon ecommerce, or Skio experience is a plus
