ABOUT THE ROLE

We are rebuilding how User Acquisition works across Ruby Labs.

As Head of User Acquisition, you will have the opportunity to build and scale a centralized UA department that supports multiple products across our portfolio. This is not a maintenance role. It is a chance to create, lead, and grow a department as if it were your own business, with the freedom to shape its structure, systems, standards, and culture.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset: a leader who wants real ownership, not just responsibility. You will be given clear goals, strategic guidance, and the autonomy to build the function in the way you believe will deliver the strongest results. As the department grows and succeeds, you will directly benefit from that success through profit share.

You will set the group-wide acquisition strategy, build scalable operating processes, and create an AI-first, data-driven department focused on speed, efficiency, experimentation, and measurable business impact. We want to build a UA organization where excellent people can do their best work: with sharp goals, clear accountability, powerful tools, fast feedback loops, and a relentless focus on performance.

This role is for a growth leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Someone who understands performance marketing deeply, but also sees where the industry is going: AI-enabled workflows, automation, better data infrastructure, faster creative testing, stronger platform relationships, and smarter decision-making across every channel.

You will lead a distributed team of UA experts, partner closely with product, creative, analytics, and leadership teams, and build strong relationships with major ad networks, platform partners, agencies, and growth tools. Your mission will be to turn User Acquisition into one of Ruby Labs’ strongest growth engines: a world-class department that scales products, develops top talent, and consistently raises the standard for how performance marketing is done.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 - Build and lead a centralized User Acquisition department across multiple products.

 - Own the group-wide UA strategy, operating model, and execution standards across Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Snapchat, Pinterest, and other major acquisition channels.

 - Provide strong leadership across the UA function, ensuring every product team benefits from clear strategy, disciplined execution, and best-in-class performance marketing expertise.

 - Build an AI-first and automation-driven UA function, using tools, workflows, and systems that improve speed, testing capacity, reporting quality, and decision-making.

 - Develop scalable processes, SOPs, testing frameworks, reporting systems, and operating rhythms.

 - Set UA OKRs and KPIs for the department, individual team members, and product-level growth goals.

 - Manage, mentor, and develop a distributed team of cross-platform UA Managers.

 - Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management across the UA function.

 - Build a high-talent-density team culture focused on ownership, accountability, data-driven decisions, speed, and continuous improvement.

 - Oversee large-scale paid media budgets, optimizing for CAC, ROAS, payback period, profitability, and long-term growth.

 - Own the testing roadmap across creative, channels, geo-expansion, audience strategy, bidding, automation, and funnel optimization.

 - Partner with analytics and data science teams to improve attribution, forecasting, incrementality, reporting, and AI-enabled performance insights.

 - Collaborate with product Managing Directors to align UA strategy with product goals, commercial priorities, and market opportunities.

 - Work closely with creative teams to turn performance data into high-impact ad concepts, briefs, and iteration cycles.

 - Build, manage, and grow strategic relationships with major ad networks, platform partners, agencies, vendors, and growth tools.


QUALIFICATIONS

 - 7+ years of experience in performance marketing or user acquisition.

 - 3+ years in a senior leadership role managing UA at scale.

 - Strong experience growing digital consumer products, ideally across multiple verticals.

 - Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar monthly paid media budgets.

 - Experience directly managing and developing a team of at least 5-7 UA professionals.

 - Deep hands-on knowledge of Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and other paid social, search, or display channels.

 - Strong understanding of AI, automation, and data-driven workflows in modern performance marketing.

 - Strong analytical skills and fluency with tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, Excel, and SQL.

 - Experience building teams, setting KPIs, creating growth systems, and operating within a centralized structure.

 - Strong commercial judgment, with a clear understanding of unit economics, profitability, and paid growth as a business engine.

 - High standards for execution, speed, ownership, and measurable results.

 - Excellent leadership instincts, with the ability to hire, coach, challenge, and retain top performers.

 - Strong relationship-building skills with ad networks, platform partners, agencies, and internal stakeholders.

 - Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.





LOCATION

Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
