# Director of Performance Marketing

## Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive performance marketing strategy across paid search, paid social, display advertising, retargeting, content syndication, review platforms, and emerging digital channels.

- Manage significant marketing investment budgets, ensuring strong return on ad spend (ROAS), efficient customer acquisition, and measurable revenue contribution.

- Lead website growth initiatives, including traffic acquisition, conversion rate optimization (CRO), user engagement, web development priorities, and digital experience enhancements.

- Implement AI-driven personalization, audience targeting, campaign optimization, and testing strategies to improve performance across digital touchpoints.

- Establish and oversee advanced attribution models, measurement frameworks, forecasting processes, and performance reporting systems.

- Own and evolve search visibility strategies across traditional SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and AI-driven discovery channels.

- Optimize digital presence across AI-powered platforms, search assistants, review sites, and software recommendation ecosystems.

- Design and execute integrated demand generation and lifecycle marketing programs that support acquisition, expansion, retention, and revenue growth objectives.

- Build and operationalize buyer intent data strategies to improve targeting, lead prioritization, and campaign effectiveness.

- Champion AI adoption across the marketing organization by implementing scalable workflows, automation initiatives, and experimentation frameworks.

- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing marketing professionals while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Partner closely with sales, product marketing, content, customer success, revenue operations, and engineering teams to align growth initiatives with business goals.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of performance marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within a B2B SaaS environment.

- Strong background in vertical SaaS marketing with direct ownership of pipeline generation, revenue contribution, and growth targets.

- Proven expertise managing large-scale paid media programs across search, social, display, and programmatic advertising channels.

- Deep understanding of AI-native search ecosystems, including GEO, AEO, AI-powered discovery, and agentic search strategies.

- Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to improve campaign execution, content production, audience targeting, testing, automation, and reporting.

- Demonstrated success optimizing website performance through conversion rate optimization, personalization, and digital experience enhancements.

- Strong analytical capabilities with experience building attribution models, forecasting frameworks, and data-driven decision-making processes.

- Expertise in customer lifecycle marketing, demand generation, buyer intent data, and revenue-focused growth strategies.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Ability to translate complex technical and AI-related concepts into actionable business strategies and executive-level insights.

- Experience within accounting software, professional services technology, or practice management solutions is advantageous but not required.

- Passion for innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within a rapidly changing digital and AI-driven landscape.
