Who we are

  Aurox is an ag-tech startup using drones and AI to help dairy farms measure feed, cut waste, and run more efficient, more sustainable operations. It's a massive, overlooked industry still running on clipboards and gut-feel, and we're changing that. 



We're bootstrapped, profitable, and growing (no VC theater, no runway clock), and we already work with some of the biggest names in North American dairy. We have three products in market and launching: drone-based feed-inventory measurement, AI powered feed-bunk monitoring, and a voice-first farm-walkthrough app. Real customers. Real revenue. Small team, big swing.



Why this role is different

  This is a founding-team seat. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founder across the entire business, finding customers, helping close them, onboarding them, keeping them happy, and then rolling up your sleeves on whatever the startup needs next. If you want a narrow job with a clear lane, this isn't it. What you'll actually do

  Drive sales (≈40%), Research and reach out to dairy farms and feed companies, book and run discovery conversations, and help move deals across the line. You won't be dialing into a void: you'll work alongside the founder who owns the big relationships, and you'll earn commission on what closes. 



Make customers successful (≈25%), Onboard new customers, show them the ropes, and be the friendly human they reach out to. Happy customers stay, grow, and refer, and that's on you.



Solve whatever's in front of us (≈35%), The rest of your time is pure startup: marketing experiments, content, relaying what customers tell you back into the product, sharpening our process and tools. You'll touch every part of the company and find the things you're great at.



What your first 90 days look like

  • Learn the products inside-out, plus the basics of dairy, feed, and how our customers actually make money.

    • Shadow the founder on real customer calls, then start running your own conversations.

    • Take ownership of onboarding for new customers and become their go-to.

    • Start building and working your own pipeline, with commission on everything you help close.



Who you are

  • Hungry to learn fast and grow in a real startup.

  • A natural communicator, people like talking to you, and you build trust quickly.

  • Curious and self-directed, you figure things out without a manual or someone hovering.

  • Coachable, low-ego, and energized by ambiguity and ownership rather than scared of it.

  • No specific background required. Sales, customer success, startups, agriculture, any exposure is a bonus, none is a must. We care far more about who you are than your résumé. If you're sharp and

  genuinely want to learn the world of dairy, technology, and AI, we'll teach you the rest.



The deal

  • Contract-to-hire: you start on a paid, full-time ~3-month contract so we both make sure it's a great fit, then convert to a full-time role.

  • Pay on conversion: $50,000 base + performance commission & bonuses, targeting an additional $10,000-$30,000 in your first year (uncapped, the more you bring in, the more you earn). Realistic

  first-year OTE of $60,000-$80,000, growing as you ramp. We'll walk through the full commission structure together as we move toward a full-time offer.

  • Fully remote, with at least partial overlap with US business hours. Fluent English is required; Spanish is a bonus.

  • Real room to grow. This is a ground-floor seat on a core team. As we scale, you scale, into sales, customer success, marketing, or ops leadership, wherever you shine. Early people who deliver get

  outsized opportunity, and we'll talk about long-term upside for early team members.
