# Social Media Manager and Content Creator

About SkyJam

SkyJam (skyjam.app) is a live-music tipping and song-request platform used by bar performers, buskers, DJs, trivia hosts, and karaoke hosts across the US. The content opportunity is enormous: live music clips, performer stories, tip reveals, song-request moments.

About the role

You'll be the voice of SkyJam across social media, building an audience of working performers and live-music fans that converts into users. You'll create short-form video, posts, and blog content; manage our communities; and be in the replies daily. You work inside a 3-person pod with a developer and marketing lead, so your content ties directly to growth goals, followers matter, but followers-who-become-performers matter more.

What you'll do

* Own the content calendar across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X, plan, create, and publish 5+ pieces per week
* Produce short-form video natively: editing (CapCut/Premiere/AI-assisted tools), hooks, trend adaptation for the live-music niche
* Write longer-form content: blog posts and SEO articles from the Marketing Lead's briefs, email content, app store copy
* Manage community: comments, DMs, musician Facebook groups and forums; surface user feedback to the pod weekly
* Partner with real SkyJam performers on UGC, testimonials, and creator collaborations
* Report weekly: follower growth, engagement rate, link clicks, content-attributed signups

What we're looking for

* 2+ years creating content for a brand or as a creator, with an account you grew yourself, show us the numbers
* Genuine short-form video skill: idea to published TikTok in a day, solo
* Native-level English writing across registers, from meme-speed captions to 1,500-word blog posts
* Community instincts: you know the difference between broadcasting and belonging
* Big plus: you're a musician, have gigged, or live in the live-music world
