The Challenge

Schwarzkopf is a global beauty powerhouse under Henkel's portfolio. You'll own product activation strategy and execution for hair care, styling, and color—working directly with a PM to drive category performance across ATL and BTL channels.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Analyze current-year activation performance across Schwarzkopf portfolio and deliver a 3-slide performance deck with key learnings

Support the PM in building Q4 activation strategy (promotions, in-store PLV, campaign briefs) and track 3+ KPIs weekly

3

Own operational management of 2-3 assigned products: brief designers, coordinate with retail teams, ensure on-shelf execution

4

Master Henkel's marketing tech stack (CRM, analytics platform, PLV management system) and document 1 process improvement

By 6 Months
1

Lead the 2027 activation plan for your assigned category—strategy, budget allocation, channel mix—presented to leadership

Increase activation ROI by 15%+ through A/B testing and optimization of BTL tactics (promotions, sampling, displays)

Manage full product lifecycle for 3+ SKUs: launch planning, competitive analysis, retail feedback loops, post-launch reviews

4

Mentor incoming interns or junior team members on product marketing fundamentals and Henkel best practices

Activation ROI

Measure incremental sales lift per euro spent on ATL and BTL campaigns vs. baseline.

On-Shelf Compliance

Track % of targeted retail locations executing PLV and promotional materials on time.

Brand Awareness & Consideration

Monitor monthly lift in aided/unaided awareness and purchase intent via brand tracker surveys.

Product Mix Velocity

Weekly sales velocity by SKU and channel—retail, online, direct—vs. plan.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You're pursuing a Bac+4/5 in business, marketing, or related field and want real product P&L exposure
  • You've done at least one prior marketing internship and can hit the ground running with strategy and ops
  • You're detail-oriented but also strategic—happy to run a promo AND analyze category trends
  • You speak French fluently and English well; you're comfortable in a hybrid, collaborative team environment
Won't Work If
  • You need a fully remote setup—this role requires 3 days/week on-site in Boulogne-Billancourt
  • You're only interested in creative/brand work—this is operational product marketing with heavy execution
  • You have no prior marketing experience and need extensive hand-holding—the PM expects autonomy

PM interview
