# Social Media Clipper (BBS901)

We're looking for a Social Media Clipper to watch YouTube content from a fast-growing social media creator, identify the best clippable moments, edit them into short-form clips, and run the creator's clipping pages across social platforms. This is a full-time, dedicated role for one creator's content operation.

You will spend most of your time watching videos, finding the moments that hit, clipping and editing them into shareable short-form content, and posting and managing the accounts where those clips live. You do not need to be a professional editor or have a marketing degree. You need good instincts for what makes a YouTube moment worth clipping, the ability to move fast, and the discipline to stay on top of a consistent posting schedule. AI tools for transcription and content review are encouraged. If you are plugged into creator culture, understand what performs on short-form platforms, and want a focused, high-output role inside a growing content operation, this role is a strong fit.

What You'll Work On

Content Clipping and Identification

Watch YouTube videos and long-form content to identify the best clippable moments including funny, surprising, emotional, controversial, or highly shareable sequences
Use AI transcription and review tools to move through content faster and surface moments efficiently
Develop a strong instinct for what works on short-form platforms and what will stop the scroll

Short-Form Video Editing

Edit identified moments into polished short-form clips ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X
Add captions, cuts, pacing adjustments, and light visual treatments to make clips platform-ready
Maintain a consistent output of clips without sacrificing quality

Social Page Management

Run and manage the creator's clipping pages across relevant platforms
Post consistently to a defined schedule and keep accounts active and growing
Monitor basic performance metrics and flag what is working to inform future clipping decisions
Engage with comments and community interactions on clipping pages as needed
What You Bring
Genuine understanding of what makes a YouTube or long-form video moment worth clipping; good instincts here matter more than a formal background
Comfortable watching and processing high volumes of video content efficiently, including using AI tools for transcription and review
Basic video editing skills with the ability to produce clean, platform-ready short-form clips
Active on social media and familiar with what performs on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X
Organized and consistent with the ability to maintain a regular posting schedule across multiple platforms
Fast and self-directed with minimal need for oversight on day-to-day clipping and posting decisions
Nice to Have
Prior experience clipping or repurposing long-form content for a creator, brand, or media account
Experience running and growing social media accounts or clipping pages independently
Familiarity with AI transcription and video review tools
Background in or passion for creator culture, entertainment, or viral content
