# Creative Marketing Writer

We are looking for a *Creative Marketing Writer* to join our growing team. This role is a great fit for a recent college graduate or early-career professional with strong writing skills, attention to detail and an interest in digital marketing.

This is not just a “creative writing” role. The right person will help create, edit and improve content for websites, blogs, social media, search engine optimization (SEO), email campaigns and other digital marketing projects. We are looking for someone who can write clearly, learn quickly, accept feedback and grow into a stronger marketing communicator over time.

Position Details

*Location:* Cleveland, Tennessee
*Schedule:* Hybrid, 2 to 3 days in office, with remaining days remote
*Job type:* Full time
*Starting salary:* $36,000 to $42,000, depending on writing ability, internship experience and portfolio quality

What You’ll Do

As a Creative Marketing Writer, you will support our team by helping create and improve content for clients across a variety of industries, including health care, local service businesses and other growing organizations.

Responsibilities may include:

* Writing and editing website content, blog posts, landing pages and social media content
* Helping create content that supports SEO goals
* Researching topics and turning information into clear, useful marketing copy
* Editing artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted content so it sounds natural, accurate and client-appropriate
* Learning how to write for different audiences, industries and client voices
* Assisting with content calendars and campaign planning
* Working with account managers, designers, SEO specialists and paid advertising team members
* Making revisions based on client and internal feedback
* Helping keep website and marketing content accurate, organized and up to date

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is smart, coachable and serious about improving. Agency experience is not required.

A strong candidate may have a degree or background in:

* Communications
* Public relations (PR)
* Journalism
* English
* Professional writing
* Marketing
* Digital media

A degree is not required, but strong writing ability is required.

The right candidate should have:

* Strong writing, grammar and editing skills
* Good research skills
* Attention to detail
* A willingness to learn SEO and digital marketing
* Comfort receiving feedback and making revisions
* Good organization and follow-through
* Curiosity about how marketing works
* The ability to use AI tools responsibly without relying on them to do the thinking
* A professional, team-focused attitude

Preferred, But Not Required

* Internship experience in communications, PR, journalism, marketing or media
* Experience writing for a student publication, business, nonprofit or internship
* Familiarity with WordPress or other website platforms
* Basic understanding of SEO
* Social media content experience
* Experience writing for health care, local businesses or service-based companies

Writing Test

Candidates who are interviewed and being seriously considered will be asked to complete a writing test. This helps us evaluate writing ability, editing judgment, attention to detail and how well candidates respond to real-world content assignments.

Our team provides SEO, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, social media, photography, videography, website content, design and digital strategy. We have grown quickly over the last several years, and we are looking for team members who want to learn, contribute and grow with us.
