The biggest opportunity in lifecycle is segmentation and trigger-based automation, not blast campaigns. Companies that have done this well (Notion, Linear, Webflow) have lifecycle programs that drive 30-50% of activation and 20-40% of retention, making this one of the highest-ROI roles to hire post-product-market-fit.
