The other owns thought leadership, executive ghostwriting, and brand narrative. Best-fit candidates today combine both: they can ship a 3,000-word definitive guide AND run a 12-episode podcast with a sales pipeline tied to it. The bar has risen, generic AI-written content is now noise, and the winners are the writers with strong points of view, deep subject expertise, and the ability to ship in Jeremy's voice (or whichever founder voice the company sells through).
