# Cohere

Cohere occupies a fascinating position in the AI landscape. Co-founded in 2019 by Aidan Gomez, a co-author of the landmark "Attention Is All You Need" paper that introduced the Transformer architecture, alongside Ivan Zhang and Nick Frosst, the company has grown into Canada's most prominent AI.
